Privacy Notice

How LoveSmallBiz Ltd collects and uses personal data through this website, the lawful bases we rely on, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do.

This notice covers this website only. If you are a client, the handling of data under our engagement is governed separately by your engagement letter and data processing agreement, where we normally act as a processor on your instructions rather than as controller.

Who we are

LoveSmallBiz Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to.

Who else is involved

We keep this list deliberately short, and we do not sell personal data or share it for anyone else's marketing.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used — how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly where they came from. We do this because we would otherwise be guessing about what is useful on this site.

It is deliberately chosen because it is cookieless. It sets no cookies, does not track you across other websites, does not build a profile of you, and does not use your IP address to identify you. Data is aggregated and anonymous — we can see that a page was read, not who read it.

Because it collects no personal data and sets no cookies, it does not require your consent and there is no cookie banner. We are telling you about it because you should know it is there, not because we are obliged to ask.

If you would still rather not be counted, any browser-level "do not track" or ad-blocking extension will block it, and nothing on this site will stop working.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets one cookie, and only when you use the enquiry form:

PHPSESSID — a session cookie that lets our server remember the answer to the anti-spam question while you complete the form. It contains no personal information, is not used for tracking or advertising, and expires when you close your browser.

This is a strictly necessary cookie, so it does not require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.

Where your data is held

Enquiries are received and stored in our email system within the UK/EEA. Some of the providers above may process limited data — principally IP addresses — outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the transfer safeguards those providers have in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
